We appreciate that many people find online training more convenient or more comfortable and as such will continue to run an online option. \nWe manage the courses carefully to ensure that attendees benefit from an interactive approach to learning that enables them to: \n\nIdentify the strengths and weaknesses in their APC preparation to date\nTarget APC preparation at aspects which require most work for them\nInteract with the best APC coaches during the sessions\nMeet other candidates in the same boat\nBenefit from ongoing out-of-session APC support until their interview\nHave an enjoyable APC training experience!\n\nThe Paperwork Preparation Day is an interactive session which will assist you with the preparation of your final submission and will cover:\n\nUnderstanding what APC assessors are seeking from your submission and final assessment\nThe countdown to APC preparation: How best to spend your time preparing for your submission\nHow to approach and complete all aspects of the APC submission\nUsing the RICS Assessment Platform (AP) system\nHow to present your Case Study at your final assessment interview\nAn RICS Ethics overview and how to prepare for the online RICS Ethics e-learning test\nAn overview of important statutes\, regulations and RICS publications\nAdvice on time management and planning your revision\n\nRevision A will cover:\n\nConduct Rules\, Ethics and Professional Practice\nMandatory competencies\nCore competencies: Inspection\, Measurement\, Valuation (& Development Appraisals)\nHow to respond to Assessors’ questions: Practical Question & Answer techniques\nRevision techniques: Action planning for the final assessment\n\nRevision B will cover:\n\nA recap on Ethics and Regulation\nSelected optional competencies (dependant on pathways)\nCase study presentations and Question & Answer session\nA review of topical issues pertinent to different pathways\nHow to prepare for the final assessment interview\nYour questions and concerns\n\nIt is important that you stay within the same group throughout the course in order to benefit from cohort and ongoing social media support.\nThose wishing to attend may request an invoice or pay by card. The course cost covers all training days\, all training materials including our comprehensive revision guide\, and access to continued online support from the candidate’s coach and cohort between sessions. \nPlease note that in accordance with RICS guidelines\, as an external coach it will not be possible to read your submission and make comments.  However\, on-going social media/email support is available to answer any queries which you may have. \n
