APC Success history
APC Success was established nearly 20 years ago when we began to provide APC support for a small number of major London-based surveying practices.
We later started working with individual candidates from a wide range of backgrounds including corporate, development, statutory bodies & smaller private practices. We continue to work with a large number of both firms and individual candidates across the UK, Europe and further afield.
Expert Coaches, Assessors & Auditors
Our people are Chartered Surveyors who have worked in small and large real estate organisations such as Avison Young, CBRE, Deloitte, Hillbreak, JLL, Richard Ellis, Savills, Strutt & Parker and VSL & Partners.
As well as being surveying practitioners, we have previously had responsibilities for APC candidates, corporate graduate programmes and Learning & Development functions. We are also APC Assessors, APC Panel Chairs and APC Auditors.

We have always valued having an innovative approach to mentoring and coaching our candidates, placing importance on the candidate taking ownership and control of the process. We consider the APC assessment to be the springboard for a successful career in real estate and we are highly conscious that our role is not only to help candidates get ready for the APC assessment, but to give them the grounding for ongoing career development and professional excellence.
To that end, APC Success places great importance on improving the professionalism of candidates, often bridging the gap between academic achievement with the demands of the workplace and the dynamics of the market. We support candidates who work in organisations which do not offer extensive in-house APC training programmes, including smaller firms and organisations.
We help these candidates to navigate the APC process through coaching and mentoring, as well as by offering them the opportunity to attend pre-submission and pre-interview courses with other candidates so that they can benefit from peer support networking.
APC Success works with a range of real estate organisations, including PLCs, public sector bodies and partnerships, who have a number of APC candidates.
We help organisations to arrange and run APC structured training programmes from recruitment of graduates all the way through to successful completion of the APC for their candidates.
Our understanding of organisations’ needs and expectations regarding graduates’ and other APC candidates’ progress is born out of our previous experiences running corporate programmes ourselves.
We lead in-house training sessions all the way through the APC process from induction to completion and ensure that feedback is given to HR and/or Counsellors to ensure candidates’ progress is maintained.
