This course is intended to provide non-surveyors with an understanding of property issues, in order to enhance their motivation and performance when working within property organisations.

The objectives are:

To provide a technical and legal background for non-surveying professionals working in property organisations and an overview of the property market and how it functions.

To deepen understanding of the employer organisation’s commercial objectives and how these are achieved through the work that it does, whether that is the real estate products it creates and/or the services that it provides.

To help employees find out more about the range of work undertaken by the organisation, how that fits within the wider market context, and the role of the different teams within the organisation.

To help employees discover how to find out more information, how make to make their work more interesting and rewarding, and how to increase their impact.

APC Success: Preparation Bootcamp

This course, previously referred to as the 3-Day Intensive APC Revision Course, is a combination of the APC Success Paperwork Preparation course and the APC Success Interview preparation course. By attending the courses in this combined format, attendees receive all the learning benefits of both courses, including continued virtual support between sessions from their cohort and coach, at a reduced cost.

APC: Assessment Prep Session

Candidates must present a very high quality submission because assessment panel decisions are based largely on this paperwork.This course will help you understand what assessors are looking for, guide you through the process, selection and design of case studies, and teach you how to optimise the time spent on your submission.

APC: Moving into the Final Year

In the final year you must focus on several key aspects in order to make your APC as successful as possible.This course focuses on making your final year as successful as possible and includes creating a personal timeline based on your progress, advice on competency selection and progress, and finalising case studies based on assessor expectations.

APC: Supervisors and Counsellors

APC Counsellors and those providing supervision perform an invaluable role for their candidates.This course helps you understand your obligations to the RICS and candidates, and how best to provide support. We cover the role of counsellor, understanding candidates needs, key APC requirements, course processses, and much more.
